A Word from Attorney Lewinski

I currently live in Orchard Park, New York with my wife, Julie, my son Donovan, and my daughter Scarlet. Outside of a quick 12-year detour to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (always a Bills and Sabres fan), I lived and resided my entire life in Western New York. My wife and I also own CarePatrol of Buffalo Niagara, a business that provides a free service to educate families with seniors on the safest options for moving into independent living, assisted living, memory care and in-home care (www.buffaloniagara.carepatrol.com).

Educational Experience

I attended Canisius College in Buffalo, New York where I attained my B.A. and M.B.A. After working for a year in human resources for the Seneca Gaming Corporation, I moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to attend law school at the Duquesne University School of Law, where I graduated in 2009.

Professional Background

I started my legal career in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at both a small corporate boutique law firm and a large 550-lawyer firm headquartered out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, practicing primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, estate planning, corporate transactional work, securities litigation, construction litigation and professional responsibility matters.

After being in private practice for a number of years, I transitioned to working in the Legal Department at Crown Castle, a publicly traded company that is the nation’s largest provider of wireless infrastructure (cell towers, small cells and fiber). In my role as Senior Attorney, I managed a team that was responsible for overseeing all of the company’s national litigation, employment issues, compliance matters, risk management and internal investigations. In this role, I was also responsible for providing legal training across the entire company and managing outside counsel nationally.

My wife and I then made the decision to return our family to the Western New York area where I worked first as Senior Counsel, Compliance and Operations for a national technology company that is headquartered in Buffalo, New York, and then subsequently as the Chief Legal Officer for a small renewable energy company also headquartered in Buffalo, New York. In both of those roles, I handled a variety of legal matters, including but not limited to litigation, compliance, employment/human resources, operations, regulatory, and contract administration and management. I then made the decision to return to private practice and join The Law Office of Corey J. Rossi, PLLC.

I believe that I am well suited to help work with you or your business on a variety of legal matters with experience that ranges from advising individuals, small companies (including start-ups) and publicly traded companies. In my various legal roles both in law firms and corporate legal departments, I have worked with individuals out in the field to C-level executives and senior management (and everyone in between) and treated every individual and legal matter with the same level of care and diligence. I excel at placing myself in the shoes of my clients and making sure that I work closely with the client to ensure that every legal matter is being addressed to the client’s utmost satisfaction and within their budget. Every legal matter, no matter how big or small, is important to the client, and likewise, is just as important to me.
