A Word from Attorney DeMarco
As the proud son of a small-business owner and surrounded by family members running their own companies, I grew up loving business and am an entrepreneur at heart. As an attorney, I have dedicated my practice to representing hard-working individuals and businesses throughout New York in all facets of employment, business, commercial, real estate, and construction law matters. My areas of expertise include construction law and litigation, real estate and development, business and corporate formation, contract review and drafting, employee policy creation, corporate governance, compliance, the buying and selling of commercial assets, intellectual property rights, and succession planning.
Educational Experience
SUNY Buffalo Law School in Buffalo, New York, awarded a Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 2014, with a concentration in Intellectual Property and certification in Technology Transfer. During law school, the recipient served as a Clerk for the Buffalo Public Interest Law Journal, gaining valuable editorial and legal research experience. The academic journey began at St. Bonaventure University, where a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science was earned cum laude in 2011, complemented by dual minors in Journalism/Mass Communications and Law in Society
Professional Background
The team at Rossi & DeMarco works with businesses and employers to provide cost-effective legal advice and counseling to take proactive measures to reduce the risks of litigation inherent in any business. In the event of litigation, however, our team has extensive experience litigating complex commercial and employment cases on behalf of employees and employer in both state and federal court, as well as before state and federal administrative agencies, including the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York State Division of Human Rights, New York State Department of Labor, United States Patent and Trademark Office, and other various state and local employment agencies.
Strategic Advantage
In addition to my focus on employment and business law, I represent real estate and construction companies throughout Western New York and the Southern Tier, handling a broad spectrum of services, including the litigation of construction contract disputes, mechanic’s liens, foreclosure actions, and other real estate matters.
Mr. DeMarco is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Erie County. Mr. DeMarco is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park, and he also serves on the St. Bonaventure Cemetery Board of Directors.
